Lifeguard

Disclaimer: No I don't own them. I wish.

Warnings: Let's see *ahem*; bad language, angst, Pervy type humour, fluffy AU, and drunk pilots. This fic contains no deep thoughts and has no redeeming socail value. It exists solely because I'm a crazy prevert with a twisted sense of humour.

Special note: When I originally started this fic I had one goal in mind. I wanted to make Trowa a lifeguard. I had never read a fic where Trowa was a lifeguard and I felt that was a true injustice within the fandom. I mean doesn't Trowa's body just scream to be put in red swim trunks and have the silver whistle around his neck? OK maybe it's just me....... Hey! Neri, Raletha and Anne agree with me. It's so good not to be alone.^_^

Chapter Three

Duo sighed happily. He had eaten more than his share and then some. They had chatted through dinner but the guys had studiously avoided the question Duo knew was plaguing them. How in the hell did a suburbanite brat become best friends with someone who lived in the millionaire section of town? And why in the hell had he never mentioned Quatre before today? Heero was especially concerned with the second question and he had a few of his own as to Duo and Quatre's relationship. Patience however, was one thing Heero had enough of for him to hold his tongue.

"OK. Lemme 'splain. No that is too much lemme sum up[5]!" Duo said with a cheesy accent. "Uh, well, Quatre and I have known each other for as long as I can remember. Our mothers were best friends in High School. We've been best friends for a long time now. If I had to say who knew me best it would be him. He's probably the best person I know. He's damned smart, fun and talented as hell. I'm really over protective of him. There is a reason for it though. He's the son of Harrim Winner, Head of Winner Enterprises International. Quatre is his 'Heir' so to speak. I don't like telling people I'm friends with him because I've seen Quatre get used a lot. People latch onto him to try to get whatever they can from him. You know money, influence. Whatever." Duo paused and glared at the table.

"When we were 10 Quatre was kidnapped for the first time by the dad of a kid we had started to hang out with. He went ahead to meet up with him, when I got there, they were gone. It was the shittiest day of my life. The second was when I found out a guy I was friends with was using me to get to Quatre. He was manipulating me so he could get into Quatre's house and case it so they could rob them. That was when I was 13. After that I kept Quatre's family name a secret. I only introduced him to friends I thought were safe for him to be around. I still feel like shit doing it though. Quatre doesn't have a lot of friends to begin with. Except me and Sal, and with Sal overseas visiting family, he only has me right now really. To everyone else he's the Winner Heir first and Quatre second. So that's mostly why I didn't tell you guys about him."

Duo leaned back and waited for the exclamations and questions that were sure to follow. Even the best of people usually treated Quatre differently. Duo felt a little taken aback by the guys' calm demeanor. Heero didn't bat an eyelash. Well, no shock there. Duo was pretty sure if he danced naked on the table right then Heero wouldn't flinch. Trowa looked a little disappointed. That one Duo filed away specifically. He'd find a way to see what Trowa thought eventually. Wufei made a perplexed face and looked at Duo.

"Is it safe for him to come out with us on Friday?" Wufei finally asked breaking the silence.

"As long as we're low key. It's not like Quatre's going to want to show up in a limo or anything. He hates generating a lot of attention. No one should be the wiser." Duo responded.

"Friday it is then." Heero stated. "What time are we getting together and where?"

"I figured around 8 at my place." Duo replied.

"Sounds good." Wufei said and sipped his drink.

"You can come if you want." Duo said looking at Trowa.

"I think I will." Trowa replied.

"Great. Damn. We should go it's almost 11 and I haven't finished my Calc homework." Duo said.

"You're incredible. How can someone so disorganized still beat me all the time." Wufei grumbled.

"It's a gift." Duo said as he stood. Heero snatched Duo's check quickly. "Whaddy think you're doing buddy?"

"Paying for you. It's your birthday after all." Heero replied. He knew at least doing this was something resembling a step in the right direction.

"Even if I argue with you I'll still lose won't I?" Duo questioned.

"Exactly." Heero replied letting his lips curve upward on the right side. 'I love it when he smiles like that.' Duo couldn't help thinking. 'It's sexy.'

"Fine." Duo said smiling.

Trowa mentally sighed. The sexual tension between Heero and Duo was blatant. It was irritating. It was amusing truthfully, but Trowa was in no mood to rejoice in Heero's fortunes as his hopes had just been utterly squashed. He paid his bill and piled into the car with the others opting to stay out of the conversation except where absolutely necessary. He directed Duo as to where to drop him off.

"Are you sure Tro? I mean this is kind the middle of nowhere." Duo asked concerned.

"Yeah I'm sure. I want to take a walk." Trowa said gently. Wufei gave him a questioning look.

"Really man it's no trouble for me to...." Duo began

"He'll be fine." Heero cut in.

"Okaaayyy. Show up on Friday all right?" Duo ordered.

"Yes sir." Trowa said blandly.

Duo stuck his tongue out. Trowa smiled slightly in response. Considering what Duo had seen of Trowa's character he took the smile as a sign that he was in the green-eyed boy's good books. The thought made him happy. It made him even happier that Trowa would be at the bar on Friday as well as Quatre. It got his match making blood pumping. He knew his gaydar was on the mark with Trowa so now Duo's only problem was how to get someone who didn't talk with someone who was too shy to talk.

"Bye." Trowa said as he climbed from the car.

He walked a meandering route to his home. Replaying the time spent within Quatre's presence and storing away the information that Duo had given them. Quatre was rich, really rich. Like a whole other financial spectrum type rich. It made Trowa nervous. For all Trowa knew Quatre could own the apartment building he and his sister Cathy lived in. Trowa rode the elevator of his apartment block to his floor and went to the door of his apartment. He stopped his hand on the doorknob, poised to open the door. How could he bring him over to his home and not feel awkward. Trowa stepped inside. He wondered vaguely how one should ask out the son of a multi-millionaire businessman if said son was gay. Trowa sighed aloud and trudged into his room. He striped down and put on a pair of boxers. He allowed himself the opportunity to wonder if Quatre wore boxers, briefs or if he went commando. The thought made him smile slightly. His amusement was quickly quieted by the thought he might never get to find out. He hated playing devil's advocate to himself. He was infatuated with someone who he had a one-word conversation with. Trowa flopped down onto the bed and hoped he could fall asleep.

Duo scrambled around in his typical fashion as he got ready for the bar. Heero, Wufei and Trowa were going to be showing up any minute and he wasn't quite finished yet. Duo had opted for black pants that were slightly tight to show of his ass. He wore a button up short sleeved purple dress shirt open save for the three buttons done up around the middle of the shirt. Duo quickly finished braiding his hair as the doorbell rang. He flew from his bathroom to the back door and threw it open. Wufei, Heero and Trowa stood waiting.

"Sorry guys plan B. I just got a call from Quatre. He ended up helping at the office so he just got home a few minutes ago. He hasn't even eaten yet so we'll go there before the bar. K?" Duo rushed out as he put the elastic on his braid and tossed it off his shoulder to settle against his back.

"Yeah it's fine." Wufei replied. It only really affected him anyway since he was the one driving.

Duo nearly smirked at Wufei. The Chinese boy usually wore such nondescript clothes. Loose pants and a sweater or T-shirt in dull colors. Even for the bar that didn't seem to change much. Wufei had a pair of khaki pants and a button up red shirt on. Trowa was wearing a pair of tight leathery looking pants and a tight green shirt that showed of his well-developed muscles. The only thought that ran through Duo's head was that he might want to make sure Quatre stayed sober lest the repressed blonde's hormones get the best of him. The piece de resistance in Duo's mind however, was Heero. Heero was wearing a tight black shirt with a zipper to his breastbone. The zipper was undone and showed off creamy skin, to Duo's delight. The hem of the shirt was tucked in on the right side but not on the left. It spilled over the waistband of his jeans and his belt. It was adorable. Duo took a mental picture and filed it away for better use during a particularly boring class.

"Alrighty. I got my jacket so let's go!" Duo chirped "I can't believe you guys aren't wearing jackets are you nuts?"

"Coat check is a rip. We'll be fine." Heero replied

"Jackets are for the weak [6]. Besides command start." Wufei said cheerfully.

"You remember where to go?" Duo asked as the piled into the little sports car.

"Yeah. It's fine." Wufei replied. Duo wasn't sure what he expected Wufei to listen to for music and he was quite happy Wufei seemed to like classic rock stations. Duo could live with that. The car ride's conversation was held up mostly by Duo's inane chatter and Wufei's snide jokes. Trowa stayed silent and Heero only commented occasionally. They pulled up through the main gate to the house, Duo's key-card letting them in.

"Just park it in front here. It's shouldn't be a big deal." Duo said and bounced from the car even before Wufei had a chance to cut the engine.

Trowa followed sedately, even for him. Trowa's watched Duo let himself into the house disarming an alarm once he was in the door. The green-eyed boy went in last and took in the house around him. It was impressive at the least. The floors and the staircase that lead to the second floor looked like they were marble. The entrance they were standing in made Trowa feel smaller somehow. He could see into the room on his right and it looked like a sort of lounge and there was a set of closed double doors to his left. In front of him there was another doorway into what looked like a dinning room. Between the closed doors and the Dinning room, a set of large marble stairs lead to a second floor. Everything decorating the house seemed too expensive for Trowa's to even dream about having one day. A blonde head poked out through the closed doors.

"Hi! I'm almost finishing eating! I should be ready in ten minutes. Make yourselves comfy!" With that Quatre disappeared again.

"Ditch your shoes in the corner there and follow me." Duo chirped. The other three followed Duo's lead, leaving their shoes in the corner and walking towards the kitchen.

"Half sec. Yo Abdul! 'Sup!" Duo called up the stairs.

"'Sup Duo!" A voice called back.

"Say hi to your uncle for me! And Ahmed and Otta too." Duo called.

"Gotcha!" The voice came down the stairs again.

"Abdul is a cool guy. He works as a security guard at one of Q's dad's office buildings most of the time. When Quatre is on his own in the house, Abdul's usually around." Duo explained.

"I see." Heero replied.

"Hi honey. I'm home." Duo chimed as he stepped through the double doors Quatre had disappeared through a few moments earlier.

"Michelle isn't here for you to pester so tooooo bad." Quatre said as he stood by the sink. The double doors had lead to a very nice but homey kitchen. It was a large room with metallic appliances and dark counter tops. It was brightly light and the drapes as well as the tea towels were a mint green. The walls were a green tinted color that brightened things up considerably. What made it even more bearable to the eyes were the pot of pink flowers on one of the counter tops and the mess Quatre was currently cleaning with one hand while stuffing a sandwich into his face with the other.

"Dang. And I was looking forward to her cooking." Duo said his lower lip jutting out. "I see you went your usual no one is cooking for me route."

"Of course! I couldn't cook to save my life. And what I've tried isn't fit for man or beast." Quatre said, scrunching up his nose.

"Yeah heaven forbid you should use the stove." Duo said, rolling his eyes.

"Actually heaven definitely forbid! You saw what Abdul did to his eyebrows with that gas stove. I'm sure it's safer for the rest of the world if I don't try to play with fire and gas." Quatre said vehemently. "Did you guys want something to eat? I know Duo does."

"Hey! Are you implying I'm a pig?" Duo demanded.

"I would never imply that." Quatre said and smiled innocently. He looked at Heero and blinked a few times then snickered.

"I don't think he's implying Duo. I think he's pretty much spelling it out for you." Wufei stated.

"Exactly." Quatre chimed, turning the full power of his innocent eyes on Duo.

"You both suck!" Duo declared and pointed at the offenders. Quatre opened his mouth to say something but shut it quickly biting his lip. "Don't even go there Winner."

"I'm going to get changed! Grab something if you'd like!" Quatre cried and ran from the kitchen laughing.

"We should go into the lounge and we can hang there." Duo said after sticking his tongue out after Quatre.

Duo led the way to the lounge. Trowa couldn't help feeling a little surprised when he saw the state of the room. The room had two couches a desk and bookshelves lining the walls. There were four floor to ceiling windows behind the desk and floor itself was hard wood. Cables ran from the desk's laptop modem and in between the two couches. The desk was covered in papers and so was the small coffee table that stood between the two couches. The desk lamp's shade had been cast aside to allow more light to spread through the room. Diskettes and CD's littered other small tables around the room.

"This is sort of Quatre's office I guess. As soon as he works on something hurricane Quatre strikes this place. It's got the comfiest couches in the whole house in it though." Duo said and plopped down on a couch. "Watch the wires."

"Definitely a hurricane." Wufei said and followed suit with Duo. The other two sat as well. The doorbell rang. The first long ring was followed by a succession of shorter rings.

"How obnoxious." Wufei muttered. Duo whooped with joy and nearly tripped over the cords as he sprang up to take off at full speed. He stumbled out of the room and ran out of the room. As Duo ran for the door, a shirtless Quatre cut him off, flinging the door open.

"Hey sexy. Miss me?" A woman's voice sang.

"Sally! You're home." Quatre practically beamed with delight as a girl with sandy blond hair flung herself into his arms. The girl was only a few inches shorter than Quatre. Her eyes were a seductive blue and her mouth formed a little pout. Her smile was as easy going as Quatre's. Her gaze on the other hand was direct and piercing. Trowa's got the vague sensation of being sized up as her gaze flitted over to them. "Ack! You're cold!"

"Well duh. I was just outside but it'd probably help if you were dressed." Sally said and moved away tugging on the shirt that was in Quatre's hand. "OMFF!"

"SAL! You're home early! Happy birthday to me!" Duo sang as he picked the girl up around the waist and her swung around. "Guys, this is Sally."

"Hello." Sally said. "Put me down ya twit."

"Glad to see you missed me." Duo said, letting his lower lip jut out.

"I didn't miss you, I missed my cutie pie. You're just a noisy brat." Sally said, making a vague dainty shooing motion with her hand.

"You're so mean!" Duo whined.

"I'm teasing!" Sally chimed and promptly gave Duo a loud kiss on the cheek.

"That's better." Duo said.

"Sally that's Heero, Trowa and Wufei." Quatre said now fully clothed as he smoothed out his hair.

"Well hello Heero, Trowa and Wufei." Sally said, turning and extending her hand to the three other boys. Each boy extended his hand and shook Sally's in turn. "You can call me Sal."

"Nice to meet you." Trowa said softly. This looked even more depressing. She got such an exuberant response Trowa wasn't sure what to think or how to act. What's even worth trying? Trowa was getting very frustrated. He wanted to come out and ask the blonde boy if he would have a problem with Trowa's attentions but Trowa wasn't sure how to go about it. 'I think you're the most captivating thing I've seen, nah, too cheesy. Can I stick my tongue in your mouth? Definitely not a good idea.'

"Aww Quatre you look so handsome in that!" Sally gushed " I love it when you wear white."

"I think I have a black shirt in my closet. I'll be back." Quatre said his cheeks stained with a blush.

"Don't even think about it!" Sally said, her voice going dangerously low.

"You're going to tell him what to wear?" Wufei asked. He didn't like this woman at all. She seemed like a blatant ass kiss to him.

"It's her way of teasing me." Quatre explained.

"And he looks cute when he blushes." Sally pointed out.

"Wanna come to the bar?" Duo asked.

"Yuppo. I'm all bar whored up too!" Sally said.

"Really?" Duo said, grinning slyly. "So honey..... whatcha wearin'?"

"I'll show you those later." Sally said returning the grin "But for now check these babies out." Sally produced her legs from her ankle length winter coat. They were clad in a pair of knee high black leather boots. "The joys of 'Fuck Me [7]' boots"

"We'll be back in a bit." Duo said, moving to toss Sally over his shoulder.

"Yeah five minutes." Sally said.

"I'm insulted by that." Duo proclaimed.

"I thought I was being quite generous." Sally retorted.

"Go away again. I liked you better when I didn't have to talk to you." Duo stated.

"Bar anyone?" Quatre chimed in.

"There's a small problem. There's six of us now. I can't fit that many people in my car." Wufei stated. Stupid woman, she was insulting and apparently had no shame.

"That's easy." Came a voice from behind them. A tanned man with a fez and a pair of dark sunglasses stood behind them. "Hi Sal."

"'Lo Abdul." Sally replied warmly as Duo put her down.

"I'll drive you in the van. Either myself or Rashid will pick you up. If you approve Master Quatre." Abdul said, smiling.

"Brilliant" Quatre beamed. Abdul moved in and whispered a quick comment to Quatre. "Thank you! If you want, you can all stay the night too. That way whomever wants to can drink. That is, of course, if it's all right with your parents."

"My mom'll be fine." Duo said

"I'm in." Sally replied.

"I'll have to phone and check." Wufei muttered his eyebrows growing together.

"Cathy should be all right with it." Trowa answered faintly. "I just have to call her and tell her where I am."

"My parents will be fine." Heero stated.

"K! S'all good then." Duo chimed.

Finally after a little scrambling and a few phone calls they all piled in to the van. It was an eight-seater so the ride was comfortable at least. It was definitely better than all of them cramming themselves into Wufei's little sports car. Abdul proved to be extremely entertaining with stories of Duo's most infamous exploits. Duo had whined that everyone should be nice to him for his birthday. Abdul merely replied that embarrassment built character and despite the fact Duo had a lot of that, it wasn't of the good sort.

"Well why can't you tell us about some of Quatre's embarrassing stories?" Duo bemoaned.

"I like my job." Abdul replied winking to Quatre in the rearview mirror.

"Like he'd fire you for it anyway." Duo grumbled.

"Here you are." Abdul announced as he pulled up. Everyone discarded their jackets in the van before leaving.

"Oh goodie no lineup out the door." Sally declared stepping down.

"We'll phone you when we're ready to leave OK Abdul?" Quatre tuned to ask.

"That's fine." Abdul returned.

"Thank you!" Quatre called and shut the door after the last one of them piled from the van. Abdul took off quickly from the parking lot.

"Oh great." Sally muttered as she pulled the entrance door open to see a wall of people.

"Looks like we are the line out side." Duo commented.

"Damn. I'm gonna freeze." Sally stated.

"Well maybe if you wore clothes it would help." Wufei sneered. Taking in what Sally was wearing. A short black skirt, a bright red halter and her black 'Fuck Me' boots.

"Well then I couldn't whine about it and where would the fun be in that?" Sally parried, smiling cheekily at Wufei, then licked her lips in his direction. Wufei felt his face grow a little warm. She was exasperating.

"Ooooo I hope we don't have to wait long." Quatre said. "I don't want to freeze either."

"No kidding. Oh well guess it'll be up to our great Mexican friend to warm us up." Duo declared.

"No way! No evil Mexican liquor for me! Tequila is hell Spawn." Quatre stated pointedly "You remember what happened last AUGH!" Quatre yelped and spun to face the woman that had walked up behind him. His small hand was rubbing his backside in a soothing manner. Trowa put 2 and 2 together and got very annoyed.

"Hey angel face. Why didn't you tell me you were coming here?" The woman asked. Her hair was chocolate brown and in two buns on either side of her head. She wore a pair of glasses and pushed them up her nose with index and middle finger.

"Ms. Une[8]!" Quatre cried. "What are you doing here?"

"This is my new investment. Didn't your sister tell you?" Une said tilting her head to the side vaguely. "Iria, Treize and myself discussed it for quite some time. Iria had considered going into the purchase with us."

"Well yes she mentioned that she was considering going into some property with you two but she never said it was a bar." Quatre replied.

"Hm. I see. Come with me. Bring your friends." Une said.

"Come on." Quatre said.

"Is this a good idea?" Wufei queried softly to Duo. "There's something odd about her."

"She's cool. I don't think she's necessarily all right up here, but she's a nice lady." Duo stated. "Besides she adores Q, like all of Iria's friends do. Iria is Q's sister."

"I see. At least it's safe then." Wufei replied.

Une lead them into a side door marked employees only. It opened into a back room with a few couches and some tables. It was dimly light by overhead lamps the music from the bar could be clearly heard through the walls.

"Oooooo, the back room of a bar. I always wanted to know what one would looked like." Sally said highly amused.

"You kids are welcome back here if you'd like. Just come with me so I can introduce you to Davis. He's a bouncer. This way he'll let you in if I'm not around." Une said warmly as she began to unravel the buns in her hair.

"Thanks Une." Duo cried grinning happily.

"This is going to be a lot of fun. Duo don't cause too much trouble." Quatre chimed.

"Yeah." Duo grumbled.

The group followed Une down a hallway that connected to another. They passed a little alcove and then came out right by the main bar near the dance floor. Une told them there was another room down the other hallway. She introduced them to Davis. He was exceptionally huge. He towered even over Trowa 6'2" by a good four inches. His arms were the thickness of Sally's thighs with huge hammy hands. He was however very soft spoken with a slight stutter. He nodded to each of them and smiled self-consciously while Sally winked at him then walked away.

"Time to start drinking." Duo declared as Sally ran to the bar. "Oh guys don't take any shots from Sally. Bad news man. Don't even think about it Po!" He said, standing next to her at the bar. "I know you and your heinous[9] shots."

"What ever are you implying?" Sally asked, blinking innocently.

"You know what I'm talking about Miss 'oh yeah Duo You'll love Cement Mixers[10]. They're great!'" Duo stated pointedly.

"Oh you're just not adventurous enough." Sally replied.

"No. Cement Mixers have nothing to do with being adventurous they're all about being able to suppress your gag reflex." Wufei said scrunching up his face.

"How about some kamikaze's to start?" Quatre asked as he leaned in beside Duo.

"Perfect!" Duo said as Quatre wove the bartender over. Six shots appeared a few moments later as Quatre handed the bartender a bill.

Quatre handed out the shots himself letting his fingers brush Trowa's a little. He hoped Trowa noticed. It would help him gauge how to proceed. Trowa showed no outward reaction. I guess it won't be that easy. Quatre sighed mentally. Trowa bought the next six then Wufei and Heero. Quatre continued to watch Trowa out of the corner of his eye. He was incredible to look at. His body rippled no matter how he moved. Quatre had vague bad little ideas of body oil and Trowa but shook them away as Trowa handed him another shot. The small caress he had given Quatre was returned just as subtlety. Trowa showed no other reaction but Quatre could feel his own face heat up. Good sign! Good sign! Quatre cheered mentally.

"Kataruuuuuuuuu........" Sally drew out, batting her eyelashes.

"Yeeeeeeess?" Quatre asked, smirking slightly. He knew what it meant when Sally said his name like that.

"Dancey?" Sally queried.

"Fine." Quatre replied.

"Yay!" Sally cried and pulled Quatre onto the dance floor after her, everyone else following in their wake.

Duo arched an eyebrow at the other guys. Trowa merely moved to follow the pair. Duo grinned over that one. Trowa hadn't moved out of arms reach of Quatre since they got here. He had the hots for Quatre. Duo was sure of it. He smiled happily as he began to dance grinding in behind Sally. Sally proved to be a good dancer and when she and Duo danced together it looked rather illicit. Sally grabbed Heero's hand and pulled him towards her as Duo ground behind her. She leaned back to say something Heero couldn't make out to Duo. Duo's eyes widened as much as Sally's smile did. She pulled Duo's hand from her hip to Heero's. Heero could only stare at Duo who grinned like an idiot on some sort of great aphrodisiac.

It didn't take Duo long to remember why it was Sally was such a great friend. He was glad she could read him like a book right then. Sally gave the best birthday presents. Quatre and Trowa danced a little more reservedly but didn't stray far from each other. Wufei danced a few songs then left the dance floor. He watched from the sidelines for a little then disappeared. Duo caught Sally's glance in the direction of Trowa and Quatre and knew she had a plan already forming in her head. She was such a sneaky little meddler. Duo foresaw another Sally vs. Quatre head butting match in the future. Sally was stubborn but she was no match for a determined Quatre. Quatre and Sally on opposite sides of an issue always spelled disaster. Quatre moved over to Trowa, leaning in so he would be audible without screaming. They spoke quickly, waved at the other three and left the dance floor. Heero motioned that he wanted to leave the dance floor. Sally and Duo followed.

"How in the hell did you know?" Duo hissed in her ear as they followed Heero to the bar.

"Duo, you've been my friend for a long time and I know what you look like when you find something you want. It was written all over your face." Sally replied, smirking back.

"You're the best Sal." Duo stated emphatically.

"You're saying that like you forgot." Sally retorted, pretending to be affronted.

"You're nothing but trouble too. Leave Quatre and Trowa to themselves for now." Duo declared pointedly.

"All right, all right." Sally mumbled throwing her hands in the air as they approached the other three by the bar. Several more rounds of shots were purchased by everyone except Duo who was thwarted and after several attempts gave up and allowed himself the luxury of getting drunk for free. Sally even introduced the guys to a good tasting shot and not one of her horrid pain inducing ones.

"I'm impressed Sally. You've really held back tonight." Quatre commented.

"So far. You never know." Sally replied then grinned.

"Thanks a lot Q. Now she's going to give me something gross for sure." Duo moaned.

"We'll see." Sally said.

"Hey does anyone want to play pool?" Duo asked suddenly. Please Heero! Please Heero.'

"I will." Heero said quickly.

"I-OW!" Wufei snapped as a heel ground into his foot.

"Come have a few more with me Wufei. Try and Keep up." Sally challenged a twinkle in her eye.

'I love that woman.' That was the thought that crossed Heero's mind as Sally hauled Wufei off in the direction of a smaller side bar.

"I think I'll pass. Pool is not my forte." Quatre declined but smiled softly.

"I pass too thanks." Trowa mouthed since he was almost inaudible in their current environment.

"I guess it's just you and me then Heero." Duo stated. "Take it easy on me. I'm not that good."

"For some reason I think you're trying to shark me." Heero said, eyeing Duo's smile.

"Me? I would never do anything of the sort." Duo replied.

"Yeah right. Let's use the tables in the back that Ms. Une told us about." Heero suggested.

"Sounds like a plan. Then we probably won't have to wait for a table." Duo responded exuberantly and the pair walked off towards the back room. Leaving Trowa and Quatre on their own.

"Umm did you want to go sit down in the back room for a while? The dance floor is getting kind of crowded and it's so loud out here. It quieter back there." Quatre had to smile when Trowa arched an eyebrow at him. "Relatively speaking of course."

"Sounds good." Trowa replied, his lips curving slightly and followed Quatre's lead into the back rooms.
