Relena sipped her apple martini slowly. "Terribly."
Dorothy shot a distasteful look to where the group of former Gundam pilots were busy watching a car race. "Women think they are attractive. They would be disappointed if they knew how dull they can be."
Relena smirked. "You have to admit they are pretty easy on the eyes."
Placing a hand over her mouth to cover a yawn, Dorothy took the time to detail the men in front of her. They were sitting around a table, drinking beer and commenting on the race. They seemed so normal, so ordinary, so boring. "They've lost their charm."
The look Relena gave her clearly stated Dorothy must be crazy. "They might be boring when they get in this mood but you can't deny that the view is still very nice."
"They are missing something." Dorothy raised her chin up. Those brutish animals throwing chips at each other were nothing to admire.
"A Gundam, perhaps?" Relena was lost in thought.
Dorothy allowed herself to remember them as they were a few years ago. Young, naïve and courageous, fighting impossible battles in their mobile suits.

"Wohoo! Crash!" yelled Duo.
"Pay up," said Quatre, extending his hand to Wufei.
"Stupid Malloy, couldn’t he have crashed in the next lap?" Wufei placed a crumpled bill on Quatre's hand.
Heero burped while Trowa stopped the waitress and ordered another round of beers.
Relena and Dorothy shared a look.
"I take it back," Relena said. "They've definitely lost something."
Dorothy took a sip of her mimosa. "Next time we can just stay home and reminisce together."
Relena raised her glass in a silent toast. "Boys will be boys," she whispered.
"A pity," said Dorothy raising her glass. "Such a pity…"
